BLADE in Chromium – Molybdenum – Vanadium (X50CrMoV16).
Steel X50CrMoV15 is a type of martensitic stainless steel, ideal for cutting tools, offering a good balance of hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
It is mainly composed of chromium (15%), molybdenum (0.5%), and vanadium (0.1%), which contribute to improving its properties.
Technical characteristics
Martensitic stainless steel with chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium.
Good corrosion resistance, thanks to the presence of chromium.
High hardness, with a typical hardness value that can reach 56–58 HRC after heat treatment, which provides excellent wear resistance and the ability to maintain a sharp edge.
